 About Witex Laminate Flooring
Witex is a family owned German company started by a visionary engineer, Albert Windmoller. The company began in 1978 in Augustdorf, Germany to make furniture components. In 1990, Ulrich Windmoller, son of the founder, invented a way of making direct pressure laminate flooring with a high-density core board. Today over 70% of the laminate flooring sold around the world is made this way. Through continued innovation, Witex developed glueless flooring technology that now leads the industry.
Under the guidance of Ulrich Windmoller, Witex has grown into a world leader in laminate flooring focused on innovation, precision engineering and ecological responsibility. Witex is sold in over 60 countries, and starting in 2001, Witex is making a new commitment to our North American customers by expanding distribution and planning the construction of a vertically integrated manufacturing facility in North Carolina.

Water can ruin laminate flooring by penetrating the coreboard and causing the floor to swell. The exclusive AquaProtect™ feature of Witex laminate floors offers complete protection against water damage. The unique coreboard of these floors is the densest in the world to resist moisture penetration. The result is a laminate floor that keeps its great look under spills, splashes and the occasional dishwasher malfunction.

Care
Cleaning your Witex floor is simple - dirt and dust are easily removed with a vacuum or a broom.
For routine cleaning and more difficult-to-remove soil, use Witex Easy Clean. Simply apply a light spray of the Easy Clean, directly to the soiled area and wipe with a clean, dry cloth. It's that simple!
Heavier stains, such as crayon, felt-tip markers, etc. can also be removed easily with Witex Easy Clean. Just follow the same simple instructions as above.
Witex laminate flooring needs no special treatment - just remember to never use soap solutions, waxes, sealers, polishes, or any other type of abrasive materials.
Protect the flooring from excessive outside dirt and soil with walk-off mats at all entrances.
Witex laminate flooring is best maintained in a balanced room climate with 45% - 65% relative humidity at normal room temperature (86 - 72 degrees Fahrenheit).
Chemical spills such as acids, alkalis or petro-chemicals should be removed promptly using appropriate methods. The floor should then be cleaned with plain water and dried with a soft absorbent cloth to prevent any residue remaining on the flooring surface. |
